7. Skins are pretty, not pretty tasty. Remove the peanut skins.

9. Goal is small pieces. Pulse your pre-butter at least 10 time
10. Turn food processor on. let it run for 1 minute uninterrupted.

4. Simply take your transfer spoon and scoop the dough onto a greased cookie sheet (parchment paper works just as well). Then make either 2 or 4 treats depending on the size of your dog and his or her appetite.

5. Lightly sprinkle the treat-tops with your white sugar.

4. Then, lightly mix the VANILLA extract into the flour mixture along with your applesauce and water. So, “altogether now….”

6. Take 1 minute or so to knead that dough on your pre-floured surface. (Until its not sticky anymore.) Should only take but a minute.

7. Okay now roll your dough out to a ¼ inch thick slab. Now you can cut it into about 75 (YES SEVENTY FIVE) small squares, then place them evenly-ish upon your baking sheets ready to cook-em-up!

8. Bake them for fifteen minutes on one side then turn the oven off and let them cool inside for anywhere from 30 to 35 minutes.

9. Now that both your chops are salivating, take them out, and serve them up as soon as you know they are at touch safety temperature for about 10 minutes.

10. Finally, once cooled for ten minutes, remove from the baking sheet and replace on a wire rack to cool completely.

3. Now then, you ready to go? Combine your peanut butter, egg, vanilla, your oil and honey (if you want to add the honey for more dog-love and sweetness) you can but you don’t need to, as its tasty without it too. Place in a large bowl and mix it well to a nice workable consistency evenly blended.

Grab your whisk and whisk together your corn flour, flour and cornmeal in your favorite dog treat making mixing bowl – while your best friend observes carefully and patiently as he or she can possibly wait for treats, from the floor, or chair, or stool, or your purse? Or is a dog in the purse phase out now? (… erum Never mind… this rant of thinking out loud has nothing to do with the actual end goal here.

3. Lightly grease two of your baking sheets – or you can use parchment paper if you prefer. I do – as sometimes grease makes us GAG a bit. To each their own.

4. Heat your peanut butter up in your microwave while using a microwave safe dish or bowl of course. I usually set it to reheat 1 cup of water and stop it at 15 second intervals up to three times usually stopping at 19 seconds on the third go around for a liquefied peanut butter for dog’s even liquefied-consistency. Of course, be cautious, as I would assume your microwave is probably different old or new, so do what you know, it only takes a few seconds. You want

5. Next – stir you liquefied peanut butter, vegetable oil, flour, egg and water together until you achieve a stiff dough.

6. Roll it out to ¼ inch thick slab, cut your dog treat shapes with a cookie cutter of your choice ( I prefer Cat Shaped treats) Then simply place them on your cookie sheets you prepared to receive them on and toss them into the oven.

7. You’ll want to bake them until golden-brown for up to 12 minutes.

8. Allow them to cool in the oven thereafter for 5 to 10 minutes before removing them onto your wire rack to cool completely.

9. Store in refrigerator or freezer in an airtight fresh treat keeping container. I usually double this batch and break them up into separate baggies of 5 or 6 for a day’s worth of treating. (walks, good – dos, listens, and behaviors and well yes, for no reason at all sometimes.) Let’s face it – those big puppy eyes are hard to resist.

4. Mix it all together now, stir in your water, peanut butter, syrup, jelly to make a nice stiff cookie cutting consistency

5. Turn it out onto a floured surface and knead until you have a nice soft consistent dough

6. Now you are ready to make your cat-shaped biscuits. Roll your dough out about ½ inch thick and take your cookie cutter shape of choice, (dog bone or like me Cat Shaped cutter) and cut as many shaped biscuits as you can.

7. Place on a greased or parchment paper aligned cookie sheet and bake for up to 20 minutes until golden brown.

8. Let them cool in the oven for 10 minutes, then on your wire rack for another 10.

9. You can store them in the fridge or freezer using an airtight container altogether or you can break them up into individual day treat bags, then place them in the containers, and use as you desire for treating, training and the occasional “Good Girl Snacking!”
